Golden Empire Transit District Board of Directors
The GET board of directors approved fare adjustments for implementation in August, 2009 and February, 2010 at the board meeting on May 19. The board cited rising costs coupled with a $5 million loss in state funds as the reasons for the fare adjustments.
Fare increases will help GET continue service improvements for the community rather than service reductions. GET will also introduce a Premium Fare for express routes. Currently GET operates one express route to the Tejon Industrial Park.
