Golden Empire Transit District (GET) invites proposals for the manufacture and delivery of Twenty Four (24) Heavy Duty Low Floor CNG Transit Coaches.
Coaches shall comply with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requirements.
Each proposal submitted must be contained in a sealed envelope stating: “CNG Low Floor Heavy-Duty Transit Buses- Attention: Chris James, Purchasing Agent” and filed at the offices of the Golden Empire Transit District, 1830 Golden State Avenue, Bakersfield, CA 93301 at or before 4:00 PM PST March 31, 2017. Proposals received after the deadline will be returned to the bidder unopened.

Addendum #1 to Request for Proposals # G072
March 13 2017
“CNG Low Floor Transit Buses”
Golden Empire Transit District is issuing this Addendum to respond to a question raised by parties interested in the Request for Proposals named above (the “RFP”).
This Addendum constitutes an integral part of the RFP and shall be read in conjunction with the RFP. Where inconsistent with the original RFP, or any pervious Addendum to the RFP, this Addendum shall govern. Unless specifically changed herein, all other requirements and provisions of the RFP remain unchanged and can only be modified if in writing by GET. It is the responsibility of all Proposers to conform to this Addendum.
This Addendum includes a request for a proposal due date extension.
Golden Empire Transit District has accepted the request for a proposal date extension. The proposal extension will be extended (21 days) as requested to provide sufficient time to prepare and assemble a comprehensive response to the Request for Proposals #G072.
The revised proposal due date is April 28, 2017. All communications and request must be submitted by April 7, 2017 to allow sufficient time to respond to the requests.

Golden Empire Transit District (GETD) invites Contractors to submit proposals for a Customer and Community Satisfaction Survey.
Each proposal submitted must be contained in a sealed envelope stating: “Customer and Community Satisfaction Survey” – Attention: Gina Hayden – “Marketing Manager” and filed at the offices of the Golden Empire Transit District, 1830 Golden State Avenue, Bakersfield, CA 93301 at or before 4:00 PM PST Proposals received after the deadline will be returned to the bidder unopened. Each proposal should include an original and three (3) copies.
